This year’s edition of the pageant launched a nationwide talent search, holding auditions across the country. After several rounds of auditions and grooming in the pageant’s boot camp, 30 state finalists emerged to compete at the grand finale. The winner, Nikita Porwal, will now represent India at the Miss World pageant.
The Miss India pageant, a prestigious event that has crowned five previous Miss World winners—Aishwarya Rai (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), Priyanka Chopra (2000), and Manushi Chhillar (2017)—marked its 60th anniversary this year. To celebrate this milestone, the Miss India Organization launched a musical anthem titled “Rise of Queen,” now available on streaming platforms worldwide.
