Ayodhya Deepotsav 2024: Drone Show To Bring Hindu Mythology To Life

The Yogi government is working to bring together devotion, spirituality, modernity and determination in Ayodhya for this year’s Deepotsav festival, which promises to be a grand event. As part of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision, Ayodhya will witness its first drone show, where 500 drones will light up the sky in a spectacular display.

This 15-minute aerial spectacle will occur over Saryu Ghat and Ram Ki Paadi. The show will feature images of Lord Ram, Laxman and Hanuman in heroic poses, sure to captivate the audience. The drones will also depict key scenes such as Ravana’s defeat, the Pushpak Vimana, the Ram Darbar and renowned figures like Valmiki and Tulsidas, all highlighted in Ayodhya’s skies.

This year’s Deepotsav will set a new world record by lighting over 2.5 million lamps. With the recent installation of Lord Ram in his temple after 500 years, the festival holds extra significance. The Yogi government is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that Deepotsav 2024 will be a truly memorable and grand celebration.

This year’s Ayodhya Deepotsav will offer a unique and breathtaking spectacle for devotees of Lord Ram. In an extraordinary display of technology blending with devotion, Ram, Hanuman, Valmiki and Tulsidas will be seen gracing the sky as part of a special drone show. For the first time, a fleet of 500 drones will be deployed to create these stunning aerial visuals, adding a new dimension to the grand festivities that celebrate Lord Ram’s return to Ayodhya after his 14-year exile.

The drone show is designed to bring revered figures of Hindu mythology to life in the sky, allowing devotees to witness the divine in a truly innovative manner. The rehearsal for this remarkable event will occur on October 29, ensuring everything is perfectly choreographed for the main show. On October 30, the grand performance will be the highlight of the Ayodhya Deepotsav, serving as a centrepiece of attraction for thousands of pilgrims and visitors.
