Trisha's air fryer paprika pork chops with mushroom & apple sauce: Today

This week we are focusing on my favourite kitchen item- the air fryer! I love it and being so honest it has replaced my oven 90% of the time - it just cooks so well, and the finished product is always amazing.

Ingredients

  • 4 x pork chops
  • 20ml olive oil
  • 2 x tsp paprika
  • 1 x tsp garlic powder
  • 1 x tsp smoked paprika powder
  • Drizzle of honey

Sauce:

  • 3 x spring onions
  • 2 x cloves garlic minced
  • 20 x button mushrooms
  • 1 x apple diced
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 100ml chicken stock
  • 50g light crème fraiche
  • 1 x tbsp chopped chives (optional)
  • Tender stem broccoli to serve

Method

  1. Mix all your ingredients in a bowl and make sure all the meat is coated.
  2. Leave to marinade for a stronger taste for up to 24 hours in the fridge in a bowl.
  3. You can cook straight away also with no need to marinade.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 180 degrees Celsius.
  5. For 10-12 minutes pending on the thickness.
