Dublin hot spot wins big at World Luxury Restaurant Awards

SOLE Seafood & Grill has won the title of 'Best Luxury Seafood Restaurant Globally' at the prestigious World Luxury Restaurant Awards.

The Dublin hotspot, which is located on South William Street, is known for its impressive seafood offerings as well as their work with award-winning Irish suppliers.

Held in Galgorm Resort on Saturday, October 19, the ceremony saw the coveted award collected by the restaurant's director, Victor Nedelea, and head chef, Oscar Mingyi Chen.

Speaking on the win, Victor said: "We have to thank everyone who has been with us from the moment we opened our doors in 2018, our wonderful local producers, suppliers, partners and awesome employees who have made SOLE the success it is today.

"Most importantly we have to thank all of our guests whose votes gave us this award, they are why we work so hard and it is recognition like this that makes it all worthwhile."

The World Luxury Restaurant Awards is a highly competitive and prestigious award ceremony, which sees leading culinary establishments competing from across the world.

SOLE been recognised by the awards on multiple occasions, having been named as 'Europe's Best Luxury Seafood Restaurant' in 2019, 2021,2022, and 2023, before becoming the Global winner for 2024.

Culinary Director, Richie Wilson said: "We are on cloud nine, to be amongst the best in the world and it is a feeling I just cannot describe. Winning this award is a testament to the continuous hard work and dedication of our entire SOLE team and Irish seafood."
